[Event] Roastedly ® hosts Malaysia’s world coffee champions Regine Wai and Jason Loo at Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019

Coffee-lovers and members of the public who are passionate about their cuppa can now learn how to extract the best brews out of their coffee beans from Malaysia’s very own national and international coffee champions – Regine Wai and Jason Loo. The public will be able to get up close and personal with the two world coffee champions on Thursday 25 July 2019 and Saturday 27 July 2019 at the Roastedly® booth at Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019.
A respectable cup of coffee at the break of dawn will set the right mood for the whole day for many coffee drinkers. While there are those who depend on their regular barista to brew them their daily cup of coffee, others will find joy in brewing their own cuppa.

“Many people have the wrong idea and practice of skipping breakfast in order to stay fit and lean but this is not the right way. Not only does this do more harm to our body but it prevents us from staying on top of our game and leaves us feeling drained and moody by the end of the day”, Farah Ann said as she demonstrated two fun and easy recipes - ‘Banana in Chiajammies’ using the Chia wrap as well as ‘It’s a Party in my Wrap’ recipe staring the Reduced Carb wrap.
Farah Ann, Malaysia’s sweetheart and artistic gymnast, rose to glory when she brought home multiple medals at the recent SEA and has been on a winning streak since. She has a rigorous training regime both in the morning and afternoons and because of this she is a great believer of starting the day right with the right breakfast.

Man of the hour, Peter Davis certainly packs a punch in and out of the kitchen. The model, actor, host and professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter is a winner in all his roles. “As an MMA fighter, I have to stay sharp and focused at all times, to be swift like a coursing river. My energy level has to be constant throughout, and so I require food that is low in sugar and rich in fibre and protein which is why superfoods such as Quinoa and Chia benefits me tremendously.” Peter has won numerous MMA championships and continues to fight actively.

[Event] Miles of fun at the Great Eastern LIVE GREAT Run

Back for the eighth instalment, the Great Eastern LIVE GREAT Run will return this year to the iconic Bukit Jalil National Stadium on August 17 evening.
Riding on the positive response received from previous years, the Great Eastern LIVE GREAT Run 2019 5KM Triple Fun Run will continue to bring runners through three unique zones – the Bubble Zone, Colour Zone and Water Zone
Held annually to popular acclaim, the 12KM LIVE GREAT Run is a fan favourite among passionate runners who are eager to challenge themselves and beat their best personal times. Whereas the 5KM Triple Fun Run will bring runners through three unique zones – the Bubble Zone where the foam is non-toxic, gentle on the eyes and safe for all ages; the Colour Zone where a brand-new slime element made from corn starch and natural food dyes will be introduced in replacement of the coloured powder from previous years; and the Water Zone where participants can water down in.
Participants can also look forward to a food festival, carnival games, and many other attractions like a giant snow globe, and airbrush tattoos for both children and adults.
