Kedai Ayamas is one of the most historical and iconic brand during our childhood. The fragrance from the Kedai Ayamas bring back the nostalgic memory from the good old days. Looking at these roasted chicken remind me of when I was a kid, where we used to have tender juicy roast chicken from Kedai Ayamas. Without realising that Kedai Ayamas is also the first store to introduce the concept of selling HALAL fresh chicken as well as other frozen products such as sausages, burgers and nuggets to supermarket nationwide.

A refresh for our memory, the famous Kedai Ayamas began operation in 1982 when it started its original plant in Kuchai Lama, Selangor (our 1st outlet at seapark at 1988). Kedai Ayamas was the first company in Malaysia to sell chicken and poultry-based products in an air-conditioned environment, and the first to offer an array of chicken roasters and light, chicken-based snacks.

I came across this Kedai Ayamas located in TTDI Jaya, Shah Alam recently. The brand carrying the tagline "More Than Just Chicken", to live up the tagline Kedai Ayamas also offers customers "Ready-To-Eat" food products such as Nasi Briyani Bukhara Ayam, Nasi Ayam Bulgogi, Nasi Kari Hijau Ayam Thai as well as various related products such as spices, sauces and different types of drinks. If you don't believe me, you can go to any Kedai Ayamas to check out their new menu. COMFIRM SURE you will be surprise and spoil with choices.

Let's rekindle with Kedai Ayamas again, a short introduction of the concept of the Kedai Ayamas for you.

1. The Kedai - To serve freshly cook food and selling great quality raw chicken, and variety of frozen product that are focus on take away.

2. The Kiosk - To sell limited choices of freshly cook food from menu. Focus on take away too.

3. The Restaurant - Only serve cook food from the menu but with a lot more of choices, and offer more spaces for dine in.

So, I decided to try all their 3 roasted chicken from the main menu.

The Golden - Classic roasted chicken with honey. Flavourful, and aromatic.

The Pepper - Marinated with fresh and flavourful black pepper. The black pepper give a small hints of spiciness, an adventurous experience on your tastebud.

The Percik - Roasted with the aromatic traditional Percik sauce. The taste is unique and flavourful. The Percik is everyone favourite, every bite covered with Malaysian favourite ingredients lemongrass, ginger and coconut milk. Super aromatic, remind me of Ramadhan month the only time i can get Ayam Percik from the Bazaar. Now you can have it everyday at Kedai Ayamas.

All the roasted chicken are well marinated with spices and of course with the best quality fresh chicken. And fyi, the foods are cooked with high quality combi-oven so that create the taste of traditional that you won't get bored with.

Beside local delights, Kedai Ayamas also offer western menu such as pasta & meatball.

Kedai Ayamas also offer limited time offer roasted chicken from time to time, so that we all get to try different unique taste of roast chicken. Beside that, Kedai Ayamas also offer kids meal too. So that you can come to enjoy with your family and friends. No one will be left out.

You can actually get a good deal if you visit Kedai Ayamas on the 15th and 30th each month, Ayamas offers discounted Golden & Pepper Roast chicken at the price of RM24.90 only. And Percik Roast chicken will be RM25.90. And on Thursday, you can get a complete set meal starting from RM13.90. On the normal day, you can also get the "Set Jimat" an all-day-set promotion for quarter chicken rice with mineral water for only RM11.50. Furthermore, Kedai Ayamas is also available in Grabfood and Food Panda.
